I go to a weekly figure drawing workshop here in Encinitas. I usually don't post them because I just think of them as "just for fun". But what the hell. My friend Mike said that he likes them more than my paintings. Nice backhanded compliment. Haha.

Mural?!

This is a mock I did for a possible mural for our studio. Maybe one day it will happen. . . but for now, I can just wish.

Nike Project

Here is a project I was working with Nike on. The project was to do some borders that represented L.A. and Kobe Bryant. So this is my take on it. Traffic. Water. Signs. Grit. The snake is the Black Mamba. That is what Kobe likes to call himself.

Bianca

Here is a the graphic that I put on my favorite board. 5’11” quad. Fastest board I’ve ever had. I stenciled the big shapes then did the details with a paint marker to get a” pen and ink” look. I named her Bianca.

Hip Hop Album

This Is a logo I did for a LA based hip hop artist. His name is Destruct the Rebel MC. He asked me to listen to his music and just go for what I thought portrayed his sound. I thought he was pretty sharp and quick with the tongue, so I wanted to mess around with that idea. I thought the brain on fire represented how fast you have to think when your an MC. Look him up his stuff is pretty good.
